Flash! It's a Mob—And A Good One

Members of Youth with Vision sponsored by Tri-County were joined by Congress Middle School choir members, Northland Community Choir members, and Tri-County Mental Health Service staff to create a Flash Mob in the fountain court area of Zona Rosa April 23.

The event was designed to surprise visitors with a spontaneous song and dance performance to Katy Perry’s “Fireworks” in order to raise awareness of YWV and their mission to address the negative impacts of alcohol and other substance abuse in their schools and community.

Following the performance, volunteers and staff distributed plastic eggs with information about the YWV web site – and candy, of course! A very special thank you was extended to Congress Middle School choir director Francie Sipes who generously donated her time and talent to create the choreography and rehearse her music students in order to perform at the event.
