New Officers, Honors for Northland Coalition


The Northland Coalition (NC) installed new officers at their Annual Meeting held July 28. The NC officers are (left to right) President Marla Anderson, Northland Dependency Services; President-elect Capt. Chelly Pfeifer, KCPD Shoal Creek Division; Vice-president of Advocacy Shannon Wollard, Ray County Coalition; and Treasurer Tom Mayfield, Excelsior Springs School District. Secretary Stacy Benninghoff, Platte County Health Dept., was unavailable for the photograph.

The Coalition with support from Tri-County Mental Health Services is a group of adult and youth volunteers from Clay, Platte and Ray counties dedicated to making communities safe and substance abuse free. They work with legislators, local law enforcement, educators and social and legal agencies to secure legislation to address those issues.
