Lori Glenski of Prairie Village and Stacy Schenck of Kansas City have joined the staff of Tri-County Mental Health Services.
Glenski will serve as Tri-County’s intake and assessment manager. She will provide oversight of agency intake, assessment, financial intake and crisis response functions. She will also deliver assessment and referral, brief therapy, crisis intervention and case monitoring services.
A licensed clinical social worker, Glenski earned a master of social work from the University of Kansas at Lawrence. Since 1999, she has served as program manager, community social work team leader and community support worker for ReDiscover, Kansas City.
Schenck joins Tri-County’s team providing community based employment services for persons diagnosed with a serious and persistent mental illness. Key duties include assisting consumers with refining interview skills, development of consumer resumes and applications, establishment of relationships with potential employers, job development, job placement and completion of consumer employment plans.
Schenck earned a bachelor of science in social work from Park University. She has served as an instructional assistant with the North Kansas City School District and a social work intern with Synergy Services, Parkville.
Tri-County Mental Health Services, Inc. is a private, not-for-profit community mental health agency delivering behavioral health-care to individuals and families residing in Clay, Platte and Ray counties. Last year, Tri-County programs assisted approximately 9,000 area residents while providing prevention services to more than 40,000 individuals in concert with some 500 community volunteers.
