POSITION TITLE: Employment Services Supervisor

POSITION SUMMARY:
Ensure provision of individualized vocational services for residents of Clay, Platte, and Ray counties as indicated through Tri-County Mental Health Services, Inc. contractual agreement with the State of Missouri Division of Vocational Rehabilitation (DVR).

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Coordinate reviews of Vocational Programs to ensure that programs are meeting state, CARF, and other funding or certification requirements.

• Ensure appropriate records are maintained and reports completed in a timely manner to meet billing and accreditation requirements.

• Market program to potential training and employment work sites and referral sources.

• Maximize community resources by networking with organizations, agencies, and providers.

• Supervise vocational staff to include: recruiting, training, and scheduling.

• Maintains knowledge of agency technology programs and/or systems and uses them effectively.

• Review financial records and participate in budget process.

• Coordinate vocational programs and conduct Vocational Profiles for agency consumers as referred. • Train Employment Specialists to prepare job seeker/trainees for successful job placement and retention

• Ensure diverse employment opportunities are developed to meet the needs of the agency consumers. Develop and maintain employer bank. Ensure appropriate job matches.

• Provide support as needed to ensure job maintenance and follow along training per contracts with DVR and other funders.

• Serve as liaison with the Division of Vocational Rehabilitation. Services to ensure program coordination of all Tri-County consumers receiving VR services.

• Coordinate/conduct staffing with regard to employment issues as needed. Oversee the development and implementation of employment plans for all persons served.

• Serve as a resource to employers, assisting them to identify, modify and or eliminate barriers to the employment and advancement of agency consumers.

• Promote employment as a necessary part of the recovery process within and outside of the agency.

• Implement Evidence Based Practices to improve employment outcomes for Tri County consumers.

• Other duties and/or responsibilities may be assigned by supervisor.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS • Bachelor’s Degree in related field required • Master’s Degree in related field preferred • 1-3 years position-related experience required
