DATE POSTED: February 3, 2012 POSITION TITLE: IT Support Specialist
POSITION SUMMARY: This position is responsible for providing technical support and help desk services to end-users of agency systems, maintaining agency desktop and laptop computers, maintaining agency phone system hardware and assisting in the maintenance of agency networks.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Other duties and/or responsibilities may be assigned by supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Knowledge and experience in information systems technology and networks. · Knowledge and experience with Microsoft personal computer operating systems. · Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office software. · Knowledge and experience with troubleshooting and support of wired, wireless and mobile networks. · Demonstrated strong organizational, facilitation, communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills. · Ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical staff.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS • Associate’s Degree or certificate in related field required • 1-3 years position-related experience required
