KCPT is presenting an important program addressing Kids in Crisis in our own community.

We at Tri-County are excited to let you know about a new local production from KCPT called Kids in Crisis: KC Responds airing Tuesday, Oct. 1, at 7 p.m. and Friday, Oct. 4, at 8 p.m.

Kids in Crisis tracks the stories of four teenagers and their personal journeys through depression, anxiety and suicidal thoughts. With rising alarm over teen suicide in our own backyard, KCPT responds by convening experts, parents and teenagers to pick apart what’s working and what’s not. Host Nick Haines goes beyond the talk to offer practical solutions, advice and tips from those on the frontlines of tackling mental health in the metro.

Tri-County is proud to have participated in creating this important program. This effort is presented with sponsorship funding from Health Forward Foundation and Johnson County Mental Health. Please share this information with family and friends.
